Basic purpose of racing machines for training of dogs – to transport a lure with the speed adapted by speed of run of a dog. There are machines to which the lure moves on special directing in the form of a rail. As dogs usually try to reproduce a trajectory of movement of a lure, a design directing such is that they should be or are lifted on safe height for dogs, or carried aside from a trajectory of movement of a lure and fenced. To thicket combine a design directing with protection elements, practically so the majority of the stationary racing machines used on stadium looks. Also there are machines in which are not used any directing, and the lure is fixed on a cord and moves at the expense of cord moving. The cord stretches on rotary devices (pulleys) which change directions of movement of a cord, and, hence, and lures. On execution the cord can be executed in the form of the closed loop and to be transported at the expense of coupling with a leading pulley (pulleys), or simply to be reeled up on the coil. Last variant is used in drag lure coursing machines.
